One of the UK's most treasured, iconic and recognisable buildings, the Royal Albert Hall in London's Kensington district hosts over 350 events each year ranging from classical concerts, rock and pop, ballet and opera, sports, award ceremonies, school and community events, charity performances and banquets. The Hall was originally supposed to have been called The Central Hall of Arts and Sciences, but the name was changed by Queen Victoria to Royal Albert Hall of Arts and Sciences when laying the foundation stone, as a dedication to her deceased husband and consort Prince Albert.

How to get to the venue
The Royal Albert Hall is located on the south side of Hyde Park between the shopping districts of High Street Kensington and Knightsbridge. The nearest underground station is South Kensington from where the Hall is about a 10-12 minute walk along Exhibition Road passing the Natural History, the Victoria & Albert and the Science Museums and Imperial College. There are also several bus route that stop at the venue.
