The annual gathering at the Wimbledon War Memorial on the border between Wimbledon Village and the Common to commemorate those who have fallen in war is one of the largest such remembrance services in the country.   Wimbledon Choral has played a significant role in this for decades by providing the choral leadership in the hymn singing.   Members are encouraged to spare about an hour to participate in this event.
