Holy Trinity Church, Wandsworth

Beaumont Road, Wandsworth SW19 6SP

Holy Trinity and its sister church, All Saints, make up the team parish of Wandsworth.  As the population of Wandsworth expanded further outwards during the 19th century, a new church was needed and it was built in 1863.   It became well known for its bells, its stunning stained glass windows and its "Father Willis" organ, installed in 1889.

In 2014, work completed on a major upgrade to the interior and facilities at Holy Trinity, including the removal of the congregational pews in favour of individual seating, providing a much more flexible space in which to hold events.

How to get to the venue

The church is located at the northern end of Beaumont Road at the junction with West Hill (A3) and adjacent to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability. The nearest tube stations are Southfields and East Putney. Bus route 170 passes along West Hill (bus stop Beaumont Road) between Putney and Wandsworth. Bus routes 39 & 493 can be picked up from Southfields tube station and both routes travel along Beaumont Road (stops Linstead Way or West Hill/Beaumont Road but in the direction of Putney only). There is no parking on West Hill, and Beaumont Road and surrounding residential streets have very limited parking. The church has only a small number of parking bays available.
